Now you don’t see it, now you do: Part two

November 30, 2012 — 2 Comments

A few weeks ago, I talked about how sometimes we don’t see something because it is blocked from view.

But other times we don’t see something even when it’s right in plain sight.

It remains hidden until we zoom in or catch the right angle of light. And then suddenly we see it.

It was there all along but we were blind to it.

I think that’s what the spiritual realm is like. It’s another aspect of reality that we often can’t see. Only when we are pointed in the right direction and looking with the eyes of faith can we catch a glimpse of what exists beyond time and space.

The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world.
He was in the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him.
He came to that which was His own, but His own did not receive Him.

Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God—
children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

John 1:9-13

“Though I never see with human eyes the hands that lead me home….”
