Speaking of pilgrimage

The Pilgrim’s Progress
From this world to that which is to come.
John Bunyan

Faith is not the clinging to a shrine,
but an endless pilgrimage of the heart.
Audacious longing,
burning songs,
daring thoughts,
an impulse overwhelming the heart,
usurping the mind —
these are all a drive towards serving Him
who rings our hearts like a bell.

 Abraham Joshua Heschel

All roads lead to Bethlehem,
all must someday follow them
And be ye great or be ye small
May the good Lord bless you all
on the road to Bethlehem

Keep me walking steadfastly towards the country of everlasting delights, that paradise-land which is my true inheritance.
Support me by the strength of heaven that I may never turn back,
or desire false pleasures that will disappear into nothing.
As I pursue my heavenly journey by Your grace
let me be known as a person with no aim but that of a burning desire for You ,
and the good and salvation of my fellow people.
