Speaking of: a big God

April 30, 2010 — 2 Comments

Bring me a worm
that can comprehend a man,
and then I will show you a man
that can comprehend the Triune God.

John Wesley

“Do not be afraid,
O worm Jacob, O little Israel,
for I am myself will help you,” declares the Lord.

Isaiah 4:14

We all are worms, but I do believe I am a glow worm.

Winston Churchill

…”Who can know the mind of God?
Who can understand Your ways?
And these words are not enough
To tell of Your great name”

…”Awesome God, Humble King
You terrify yet welcome in
Your glory echoes all around the world”

Tim Hughes

Oh, the depth of the riches
of the wisdom and knowledge of God!

How unsearchable His judgments,
and His paths beyond tracing out!
Who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has been His counselor?

Romans 11:34

Your picture of the branch with raindrops with the Scripture of the nations being a drop in the bucket, is so true.
However, the Lord used your photo to fire me up with visions of rain drops.

Everything within me; dances in the rain.
Drops like liquid diamonds scintillate and cling.
God pours down His blessings; on the earth below.
Precious drops of water, make the world to glow.
